Wildflowers in the Kingsbridge area
It was glorious to get out and about with Mike in the sunshine in the campervan after lockdown! The area we visited was in the South Devon Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
We stayed just outside Kingsbridge so had a walk across a few fields to get into town – it’s on a gorgeous inlet.
Spotted on the walk into town: Common toadflax – Linaria vulgaris and Mexican fleabane – Erigeron karvinskianus.
The Mexican fleabane was common along the side of the road in Kingsbridge.
Another day we walked along the coast from Bantham Beach to South Milton Sands.
Spotted on the walk: Sea pink / Thrift – Armeria maritima and Red campion – Silene dioica.
